Millenium PD-122 Pro Bass Drum Pedal Reviews
Really good pedal, best quality price, if yopur drum set does not come with a pedal this is a great option
Really great pedal for the money
Feels great, really solid. A good, solid pedal!
Great bass drum pedal
The best you can get for the money!
Unbeatable (geddit?) value.
Replaced a crappy old drum pedal i had, exceeded expectation as far as build quality goes.
The reviews i had already read pretty much informed my buying decision and to be fair they were spot on.
Drums are not my main instrument but i found the pedal responsive, easy to set up and very much fit for purpose.
If you are playing full time then this would make an excellent back up or main pedal. It feels built to last.
Well worth the money!!
Great pedal !!
Excellent value for the price.
It seems like it build very good with great materials.
Highly recommended..
Thanks Tomann
Maximum bang for the buck
This drum is part of a Millennium set that I am building and we use it for playing in the house or in a log cabin. From the back i.e. when playing it it sounds fine enough - sort of subdued. When playing the guitar in front of it it does light up the whole band - wonderful sound - surprising how little of input you need from it to give the band a real lift.
You have to assemble it but there was no instructions and then tune it a bit - but where better to learn how to fiddle around with it than on a drum of this price. My music teacher showed me how to hit with a standard drum stick against the skin next to each tensioner to hear the sound and surprisingly only one was out after I assembled it - just a bit too tight and high - the rest were all fine. It is easy enough to put together and light enough to lift.
The pedal I have has a longish arm so the striker hits just above the middle.
Overall I would say a lot of fun for money - plenty of 'bang' for the 'buck' spent.
Great price
Does the job great on my electric drums, can be used on acoustic aswell. Responsive and sturdy
Amazing pedal
This is the best pedal that I know, I love to play with it.
It does it's job very well. Pedal is well made, from great materials.
You can make great sound from your bass drum with this pedal. Pedal sticks to any carpet, so it stay in the same place.
I would recommend you this amazing drum pedal.
Great job!
Solid & Beefy
Great entry-Mid level product.
+Many adustable features
+Solid construction, will stand up to heavy gigging
+Great for powerful playing
+Good value
- Quite heavy
- Not as good for finesse due to weight of components.
Reccomended for anyone new, or want to upgrade their entry level pedal. Or to have as a spare.
Good pedal
Got this with the DM10 so far so good
Great for the price
Looks high quality, plays pretty nice.
Doesn't cost much at all in the grand scheme of things.
Has many points of adjustment.
Chain retaining lug/plate on the underside of the beater cam gets loose from time to time, it'll rattle and have side to side play if so, could do with some thread lock.
Some sideways play at the heel end as the footplate is fixed with compression rivets which aren't adjustable or repairable so some long term quality concerns there if it continues to get worse.
Spring tensioner retaining mechanism is plastic housed so will strip if you keep trying to tighten it up beyond the point of knowing what you are doing so just be aware of that.
Lug where you might fit a normal toe stop is basically fake so be aware you'll not get one of those on it.
Great quality and features for such a great price!
If you are on a tight budget. These pedals are great to use, with high end features! and very sturdy, for such a low price!
Awesome
realy smooth pedal and incresed my speed alot
Millenium PD-122 Pro Bass Drum Pedal
Nice looking bit of kit, multiple tuning options deliver a nice fast/smooth action without any annoying pings/tings/lag etc.
Brilliant pedal.
This pedal is fantastic. Aside from a little footboard movement from side-to-side (I'm talking perhaps 1mm), it's rugged, feels very good to play (very smooth) and is far more adjustable than the Tama Iron Cobra Jr that I replaced with it.
I particularly like the beater angle adjustment - you even get a drum key which slots into the pedal!
very smooth operating pedal.
Very fast, smooth action with this pedal. Flat base means pedal sits still and is easy to fit and transport. Love it - I can now play much faster!! Once again the quality is better than branded equivalent!
Better than I thought it would be
It's so good that i'm using instead of a Tama Iron Cobra that I have for over 10 years. Great quality product from the guys @ Millennium
Millenium PD-122 Pro Bass Drum Pedal
I bought this pedal to use with my 16" bass drum floor tom conversion. It served the purpose of being in a basic practice kit just fine, however if you need something to gig with, maybe something with a simpler and sturdier design would be more suitable.
a good quality pedal for the price
It's quite obvious to any drummer what more well known pedal the PD-122 is attempting to look like, and having owned both the Millenium pedals and the dw5000, I have to confess is almost as good for a fraction of the price. My only real complaint would be the metal hoop attachment plate which rattles horribly when not connected to a bass drum and digs in to the hoop a little when connected. If this was fixed I'd give this pedal a much higher rating.
Very good Drum Pedal
Very good this pedal battery material with high and extreme consistency and quality. The footrest and the pedal works perfectly with great fluidity, its articulation, pitch and contact with Kick is very good. I was very surprised by the positive by the great quality and delighted by the choice and I highly recommend this pedal to all users. There will certainly be sorry for the contrary, will have many favorable points and your strong point is undoubtedly its price / quality ratio of this pedal. Recommend its acquisition.
