Excellent for practice

In my opinion the Millenium Still series cymbal are excellent for players who may not have to opportunity to make a lot of noise. These great sounding cymbals are a cheap way to lower to volume of your home studio drastically. I was planning on purchasing the Zildjian L80s for a long time however upon reassuring myself that i was making to right decision, I can across the Still series. The first thing i noticed was that the Stills were €50 less expensive and included an extra crash. As a person who uses many crash cymbals this drew me in right away. After reading numerous reviews about the cymbals I decided that they were the way forward and i am very happy to have purchased them. They are great for use in apartments or other areas with many neighbours in close proximity. Can even be used in some small, quiet gigs, especially the hats have a nice tone. Thin, Light cymbals. Not for recording. Great for practice. Very quiet. WOULD DEFINETELY RECOMMEND!!!

Perfect for home practice!

These cymbals are the next best thing if you want to practice realistically at home but can't make to much noise.

They just feel like real cymbals because they are! They're just really quiet. You can easily talk over their sound.

I have them on my drumset in the living room of my appartement. I can practice while my girlfriend is watching tv without any issue.

They actually have a little bit of tone in them. This is good when you play with dynamics. The bell of the ride also sounds pretty good. The hihat has a nice wash and a nice 'chick' when closing with your foot.

Excellent item.

I have a small studio attatched to my house so volume is a real issue for me. These low volume cymbals sound great and are quiet enough to use in my studio with out having to worry about the neighbours. They have brought a whole new dimension to my practice routine and I love them , and so does the wife.

Very good

Big and cheap set. Practice work horse. I don't care about sound, I care about volume and Millenium set works great on that front. I have much pricier set Zildjian Gen 16 and Millenium set is still OK for me. I can beat them without thinking about price. With Gen 16 I don't have this level of comfort.

Great for practice

I bought them for practicing with an electronic kit. They feel much better than rubber cymbals and are reasonably quiet.

One thing I do not like about them is the sound, they are too high pitched for my liking, I prefer deeper sounds. Though I found out that placing some sponge clothes on top and hitting through them makes the sound quite nice. If anyone could come up with low volume cymbal providing deeper sound I would be instantly sold.

Overall they are exactly what you would expect from thin practice cymbals, not too loud with high pitched annoying sound xD.

Quiet Practice with no Loss of Feel

Coupled with the Rtom range of pads, this is a way to reduce the volume of a kit by around 80% with minimal loss of feel. These also offer very good value when compared to the equivalent Zyldjian range.

Good practice option

I'm using these for home practice - all sound pretty good for low volume cymbals and have a quality weight to them. The only complaint is that hi-hats and ride are louder than the crashes, they are still low volume but the balance of sound would be better if they we a little quieter. Still an excellent option.

Great cymbals for practising

I got these cymbals to use with electronic drums just for playing at home. They make playing on drums actually feasible now. They really are so much quieter, even with hard hitting.

Another big plus is the price, they are significantly cheaper than Zildjian's but basically the same. It's so useful to have full size cymbals too.

One small downside is they arrived with some grease so I had to give them a good clean before using.

If you're just using at home I'd highly recommend this set.
