Soft, Sweet, and Clear
I've owned this instrument for one year, and it is my best recorder.
It has a clear, non-raspy tone, and it is very aesthetically pleasing.
Because of my experience with this instrument, I look forward to purchasing the 4303 Rottenburgh Alto.
The complete package
This is really a very nice recorder.
The case it comes in is super - it protects the instrument well, holds the little cleaning cloth and rod but is still small enough to toss in a bag.
Am very happy with this recorder. The missing star in the response is due to it being a bit fussy in the very high notes, the second octave B and above.
