Mooer Baby Tuner Reviews
Baby tuner is great small pedal. It's very similar to TC Polytune. It does the job and it's build very well.Nothing else to say.I hope it will last long!
Works perfectly
I have had problems with tuners for years where they would not work reliably. I have a Korg Pitch Black where I often have to touch the headstock of the guitar on it to get a good pitch reading. I'd also been using a TC Polytune Mini on my pedal board, but sometimes it just wouldn't 'lock on' to a pitch... it seemed to interact with the amp and other pedals... sometimes turning things on and off helped, sometimes not.
I am not sure if tuners 'age' and become unreliable or what is the problem. I don't think I have mistreated them.
Anyway - so far (several gigs) the baby Mooer has worked perfectly every time! The display is bright and clear. And the price is great.
Baby Tuner
This pedal is so tiny yet has the big face for tuning. Great for saving space for other pedals!
Great mini tuner
Is a great looking mini pedal that feels very accurate and fast to pickup the note. Need i say more.
baby tuner
really good tuner very similar to the tc electronics one at a fraction of the price,
its tiny on your pedalboard, bright and accurate what more do you need.if your on a budget this is the one
Great tuner
Works flawlessly. Got it as I needed a small footprint tuner for my tiny pedal board. Pondered the TC Polytune but had no use for the "polytune" feature since I play weirdly tuned instruments. I'm not a big mooer-fan but this one does the trick!
Great if you only need 440Hz
Great little tuner, really clear and responsive and great for a buzy pedalboard.
But if you need to calibrate your tuner, look elsewhere. This will only tune to 440Hz.
Very handy tuner for stage use
Great addition to my pedal board, small size means that it can be slotted in with my other pedals and not take up too much room. The foot button cuts the signal in the FX loop so no one can hear you tuning up between songs.
Makes electronic noises, but not as cute as R2D2 :-(
It is a highly responsive and stable tuner, and the size, solid metal casing and LED lighting make it a great item that is easy to use and see on a dark stage. Having said that, the (defective?) unit I received makes very noticeable electronic noises when in tuning mode.
Stepping on the switch to engage the tuning mode cuts off the signal from the signal-out connection. There is no option to allow for tuning without cutting the signal, which is sometimes necessary in a live situation or due to the set up of your pedal signal chain.
As the LED lights switch on and off rapidly to display the graphical equivalent of a shifting needle on a tuning meter (to indicate your pitch) the unit buzzes, whizzes, hums and beeps like R2D2 -- only not nearly as cute. It would have been somewhat tolerable if I had the option to let the guitar signal through and perhaps hide those horrible noises, but I can't.
I had thought about returning this unit, but am now considering keeping it for its size, price, high responsiveness and LED-lighting feature. I will just have to go to the amp and turn off the standby switch every time I'm tuning. I haven't made up my mind yet *sigh*
