Mooer GE 200
Multi effects pedal

Latest User Reviews
Good FX processor for every needs.
I use this almost 2 years.
Plenty of options, amps, drives, effects, suitable for every style of player. The sound is kind of bright and crisp, sounds more digital rathe then analog/tube. The looper is superb bonus, (however the operation of looper with one knob is little confusing). The drum machine is simple, with some strange beat patterns, but enough for every needs.
The devvice is for practice, recording, and overall use. But if used in live gig, it is a little hard to navigate effect/patches, need some preparation...
Perfect processor for this price
I love this processor so much.
Very easy to use, sound is really good. May be used as an audio interface for PC.
I set quality 4/5 only because when I bought it - one extra screw rattled inside the case. It is the only problem I found
Best budget effect pedal
I was looking at a few multi effect pedals and this is probably the best one. I saw it on youtube and it looked realy good. But when it came when i ordered it I was blown away.
It's simple, sounds great and it has many options and you can play with it anything you want. You can modify almost everyrhing you'd like. This is in my opinion the best budget multi effects pedal.
Absolutely worth it for live usage
Very sturdy unit, would highly recommend.
The positives:
- Very good build quality
- Easy to navigate the menus and understand how to tweak whatever can be tweaked
- It's perfect for playing live & plugging in the PA. You'll sound like a guitar, you'll fit in the "mix" perfectly without carrying an amp/cab and artificially raising the volume in the room with an amp.
- It's reliable, I have been using this guy for the past 2-3 years on every rehearsal, stepping on it all the time.
- In your mobility, reliability, ease of use, reproducibility of sound it's a huge upgrade over traditional amps for a fraction of the price.
The negatives:
- Small amount of writeable patches (I think 50 in total), the rest are hard-coded presets. Limiting if you are playing multiple sets. The default patches should be overwritable.
- For each patch 1 element of the effect chain can be toggled by a footswitch. Works in most cases (switching between rhythm and lead), but can be limiting for more complex songs.
- Not amazing if you want to DI record with it (but not impossible).
- No on/off switch, has to be unplugged if you want to unpower it.
- PC software is janky AF.
Just drum-machine and looper are quite weak
As my first processor, it totally satisfies me. Sounds good. Producer released bunch of updates and cabsims available on website for download. Unfortunately, users only sell their presets for money, found only one or two decent settings shared for free. So if you want to simulate famous guitarist's sound -try over and over on your own.
Quality is great, heavy and solid. Except, markers are painted white and hard to see on grey surface. So you have to read like grandma when you try to find any button, e.g. distortion block or amp settings. And the buttons play a bit (shake if you slightly touch them).
If not the drum-machine and looper, I would give 5 stars. You cannot record drums when you plug to the computer. You can record guitar from the looper, but drums only play from the processor itself, which is weird. Some of the drum patters sound bad (especially snares). I would rather replace complicated weird patters with simple drums, e.g. just kick-drum or kick+hi-hat, because they are more universal and you can use those for whatever you play.
Looper doesn't let you remove specific layer (or at least just last one), so if you screwed on third or fourth play -delete everything and start over.
Bonus tip: it is easier to record silence on first loop (use drums/metronome to measure). Then you can start recording in advance and start playing when timline returns to beginning. Stop recording when you are ready. Otherwise it is difficult start/stop in time.
Small and Powerfull
For those who are tired of loading a lot of heavy gear, this is the unit, it´s light and easy to handle. The sounds are great and you can load your own IRs very easily.
Great product ð
The handling and the delivery was superb, product has great Sounds….
Jack of all trades
Packed with every single function that you will need for your every day jamming, studio purposes or stage playing. (USB-port as an audio interface output; second expression pedal output; rhytm maschine) It has of course a couple of really neat features that regular user will probably not use but it's just okay to have them by your side (Screen brightness adjust, etc.) Build quality is in typicial tank-like indestructible stompbox fashion. Seriously nothing really necessary to add on that, built to be stteped-on roughly and that's it. Speaking of sound quality, the stock IRs are decent but not as refined as they could be. That is not a huge problem considering that an user can easily load up third-party IRs using Mooer Audio Software. Everything else is for me on top-notch level especially considering the price.
My final advice for anyone buying this product would be to consider it a bit more, for somebody who wants to get a nearly perfect tone on stock presets, amp models and IRs, can get a little bit annoying considering that there are a bit better devices on the market for almost the same price, but if you're a person who wanna simply plug'n'play without tweaking your tone too much, than you have just found yourself a perfect device for that.
Excellent for the price
Good features and quality for a phenomenal price
Would happy gig with this
Great piece of kit
A lot of variety available, and very easy to lose days to tweaking and updating! Out of the box settings are great too.
