E-RM MIDIclock+

Until I purchased this clever little device my plans of creating soundloops running alongside synth arpegios was just a nightmare despite having all my midi cables correctly connected and global settings made accordingly. My Mininova synth was drifting out whether connected to the Korg KP3+, which has a timing mind of it's own. or the Roland SP404sx which I find more reliable for shaking hands with other midi gear. So out of pure desperation I searched and found this little usb powered device which gave me a Eureka moment when connected and easily configured. Hey presto my arpegios are at last locked into place and stress levels are back down to normal. I power the device with one of those small white "Power Bank" portable usb rechargers which does an excellent job and disposes...
Doepfer MSY2

This is one of the last remaining boxes available that can reliably sync your Sync24 devices to midi. Perfect for syncing Roland TR808, TR909, TB 303 and TR606 and other din sync devicesto midi enabled hardware or your DAW. Ive been using this to get Midi sync to a TB303 and TR606. The box takes Midi in for Start/Stop and Clock conversion to Sync24 Standard. Has been great for syncing the 303 and 606 to Ableton and allows a lot of this older hardware to be more compatible with todays systems. It comes with a power supply but can also be powered via the midi in. This box also offers midi thru so you send sync of to other midi enabled devices. Both the Sync ports on the MSY 2 require a 5 Pin Din Sync cable that has all 5 pins wired for it to work the the Roland devices
Black Lion Audio Micro Clock MK2
Based on 2 reviews
I ordered the Black Lion Audio Micro Clock MK2 in order to synchronize my audio interface via Word Clock! As always my order came on time and carefully packaged! Micro Clock MK2 is a small black metal box with three BNC 75 Ohm Word Clock outputs and just two switches on the front panel where you can route the digital signal and choose from six selectable sample rates. On the rear panel there is the PSU input. Its design is a bit unusual and reminds more a DIY device rather than a professional device. Overall, I am impressed! The price/performance ratio is very friendly for the project studio owner. This Word Clock generator performs awesome! My audio interface's converters improved dramatically! The sound is multidimensional , the bass are stronger and the reverb tails are more obvious!
Mutec REF 10 Nano Black
Based on 2 reviews
Iâ m a audiophile hifi nerd, using the Mutec MC3+USB since years to groom my bits before sending them to my DAC. I donât want to miss it anymore. The new Mutec Ref 10 nano was within my budget. So order it, get it, connect it. I switch on my digital rack with the MC3. Listen to some music, Then i switch on the Ref10 and switch the MC3 to external/reclock. I heard it directly. Bigger stage, clearer sound. If I spend bigger â¬, I always fear that I waste the money. This time it was a immediate relief. No doubt with the Ref 10 my hifi sound is better. The power switch on the back reduce the score for handling. I would like to have it on front
Antelope OCX HD
Based on 2 reviews
I bought the OCX HD to see if the Orion 32+ gen3 could sound even better than it already did. I previously had used two slate digital VRS8 coupled for 3 years, then tried the Apollo x8p and had a feeling of working with these interface, that was honestly blown away by the Antelope and its own oven clock. I wanted to hear if this equipment could even go further and.. It actually does! The transients are punchier and more precise, high frequencies are clearer and more musical, like the sustain of cymbals. Stereo image is wider with less phasing. All these improvements are really subtle and hard to hear, but the difference is here and the overall listening experience gets better. I expect my future recordings to sound nicer and more "analog" than previously. Very happy with this!
Mutec MC-3+ Smart Clock USB silver

Very rare USB interface which supports DSD input altough that the DSD signal must be converted into PCM unless the Reclocker can not function. I have already got a MC-3+ without USB. I guess both product are great and indentical in most part except USB I/O section after compared. Actually, the reclocker operation and the word clock generator inside make the sound more musical, densive but not quite dynamic. However, it gains more than it losts. Actually, when I synchronize it by an external master clocks, e.g. I have Mutec iclock and Grimm CC1, it performs great. In conclusion, a good tool at a good price.
Rosendahl Nanosyncs HD

Great for when you need to lock your audio rig to video world and all they have to offer is tri level syncs and you need word clock. The unit can also deal with all the different types of frame rates (until they invent some more). Configuration can be done on the front panel or via an app. The app is a little basic but functional. If I had one criticism is that LTC is on RCA phono but panel space was obviously a limitation. The unit is not as deep as you expect so which can be helpful in some ways but can also make accessing the connectors difficult if mounting above and/or below other rack kit. Not a criticism but worth knowing.
E-RM Multiclock USB

If you have lots of gear and you get frustrated by inconsistent sync and jitter, look no further. I use the multiclock to sync my DAW with everything else, eurorack, grooveboxes, synths etc. First of all the build quality is top notch, although you don't really use this device all the time, you just set it once and forget about it. The menu is a bit unintuitive in terms of navigation, but again, setting up it's not something you will do every day. Yes, it is expensive, obviously, but in time you realize that it is essential. Once you find the exact latency of the bits of your rig and set up the offsets, the results are just amazing. I managed to get +/- 2 samples jitter which is incredible.
Mutec MC-3+ Smart Clock USB black

I bought the Mutec for use with my digital, home Hi-fi system. I use a Mac mini computer as a server and have added a Sonore Microrendu connected to my home network by ethernet and using Roon on my Mac as the music player. The Microrendu outputs via USB to a Hegel 160 amplifier's USB input. I wanted to see if the Mutec USB would improve the sound of my system by converting the USB signal to SPDIF but also because of its reclocking and abilities to reduce jitter. I am very glad that I tried it because it has made a big difference to the overall quality of the sound of my system. What is more, the Mutec is flexible enough for it to adapt to any digital system that I may change over too. People even use them to improve the sound of the digital inputs to very expensive Devialet amps! Believe...
