MXR MC-402 Boost/Overdrive

Love the boost, hate the overdrive.

Excelent tone and great mxr build quality... kind of dificcult to install on rack tray

It's really what i was expecting in terms of build and sound quality. It doesn't take much space and it's really versatile tool that i can change from rig to rig with diferent purposes in mind. 20dB boost is quite a lot but even maxed in front of a Marshall JCM is quiet, no hisses or other noises. All in all a great product. Had to take one star out because on the bottom of the pedal, the batery compartiment extrudes from the pedal base about 3 mm in the center área, and it's impossible to balance the pedal on a flat surface like a rack drawer. It's even strange that the little rubber feet came off in the box because it's not really possible to balance it without them on, well maybe on a pedalboard with holes in it. Anyway i thing the fact taht underneath the pedal is not flat is quite a bummer, for the rest, sheer perfection! (p.s. would buy it again.)
