Simple and complete

It does what it has to do without feeling complicated.

The big volume wheel is perfect.

Good starter interface

I've gotten a lot out of this interface.

It comes with a few software product keys which are great and the controls are very simple.

After a year however, I notice that sometimes I get some distortion on my inputs and I have to replug the power cable.

Very nice to the home studio or on the move

Works effortless with my MacBook Pro and Monitors, and compact enough to take along when on the move.

The sound quality is really good. Build quality is also fine. And usability is good. Having leds for each input makes it easy to set gain.

One thing to notice is that there are only balanced jacks for output to the monitor, not XLRs. Not a problem but something to be aware of.

The device also looks good, but you do see when you need to dust off.

All in all, highly recommended.

Great soundcard

Pros: Great sound quality, works well with both speakers and headphones with the Phone out jack. Comes with some nice software via Native Access, and overall just works. Feels clean, looks modern.

I never wanted a tremendous deal out of a soundcard, this one as an "it just works" is more than enough!

Cons: not sure really, nice as it is I wish more products weren't just black/dark gray so often. It doesn't change the nice sound quality, though

My respect for the excellent quality

This is a typical low-budged soundcard with it's common features: two mics inputs, one headphones output, two balanced outputs for monitoring system, onw BIG knob for it's volume, etc. However, the design is gorgeous: every knob is placed Intentionally, every element feels intuitively. The only drawback for me: it has a 33 ohms impedance and low output voltage and therefore it can't be fairly matched with a 250 ohms headphones (still playable tho). Everything else is just: the best quality and features for it's price with the overall great sound with minimum noise level and artefacts for a home studio.

Great budget interface!

This interface is for sure the best that I've tried for the money. It has clear and precise preamps and great build quality. Definitely my recommendation for beginners and more advanced engineers!

Nice interface but preamps were very quiet!

I was looking for something to replace my Behringer 404hd and wanted to give this a shot. I found the build quality to be plasticky (but is to be expected at this price point). The device worked out of the box on MacOS mojave but when I plugged in my dynamic mic, I found the preamp to be very quiet compared to the 404hd. To the point where I could barely hear my mic. Not sure what brand the mic is as it was given to me and is not very high quality/expensive but it worked well on my 404hd. I ended up testing the same mic on the Motu M2/M4 and the volume was much louder. So you may have a different experience depending on your mic.

Have tried it for a trial recording and so far it is working perfectly fine.

Pros: Reasonably priced, does it jobs well. Has great softwares

Cons: Don't know the issue at the moment, but Native Access is not making me access additional feature softwares

It should work, or I am just a newbie BUT it should be intuitive right?

The issue I am having is that native access should download the additional features and it is not at the moment, the progress bar has no progress. I'll try again later. It is not my internet connection.

Great for mic and guitar, and with a lot of NI-products

Has been working flawlessly. Brilliant design with great tech behind, and very easy to get started with.

Came with a great deal of NI-products, meaning I got about three times what I paid for if it were all in separate purchases.

Highly recommend it!

Simple, Sleek, Effective!

I'm a pretty new producer, only a year in. But I've been using komplete audio 11 & 12, and I like how awesome those plug-ins are.

So I kept looking everywhere for an interface, and the komplete audio 2 has everything I need for now and for the future. Perfect for a home studio. It's crystal clear, easy to understand and the LED's being at the top makes it super easy to adjust.

The quality feels great, doesn't feel cheap, and the design matches well with my set up.

The tutorial that you can follow on how to plug-in and use it for a total newbie like me was beyond simple. It was comprehensive and I was up and at em in no time.

Would recommend it to anyone!

I'd let my old system run down and just bought one of these to use my laptop as an interim studio, while wait for work........ - It sounds better than my just retired G5, the audio with this unit is quite frankly unimaginable to an old hack like me.

I'm inspired again to record guitar within Logic and start a massive new project and concept album, I'm blown away.

hi, I am trying to establish home studio using Komplete Audio 2 with Komplete Kontrol M32, as I am not a professional, just to mention the installation went easily no problems at all.

The product looks good as I expected! Windows10/64b.
