Great Value

Really happy as a controller, but still have issues within Pro Tools, but this is more an Avid issue. Keys feel weighted enough for piano libraries and light enough for hammond playing style.

Great for the price

This midi keyboard has served me well! Being a hardcore pianist myself, the keys does bother me a bit but it is meant to be semi weighted. Even then there is a slight weight so considering the price it is not too bad. For those wanting to get into the midi world but want an 88-key like I did, and with the decent amount of features it provides, this should be a great start for you!

For the price this thing rocks

Got this to use as a midi keyboard that I can roll out from under my desk.

The keys feel okay they aren't weighted but at that price you're not going to find that. The drum pads feel and work nicely. Love the faders and control knobs too. You can assign them in the DAW. I'm pretty sure I've only scratched the surface of what this keyboard can be used for but so far I'm loving it.

Looks nice too :)

Very good

Excellent keyboard. I use it in the studio for all orchestrations and all my soft instruments as well as a control surface paired with Logic Pro X. The integration with the DAW was seamless and I couldn't be happier with it. I had a couple of friends who are keyboard players (I'm a guitarist so I just play it in a very limited way) and after testing it they were impressed with the keys action and setup and the only remark they made was regarding not being a full hammer action, but given the price/quality and features they were very impressed, as am I. If anything ever happens to it I would definitely buy it again.

Perfect for beginners

I have been using this keyboard for 11 months now and I'm extremely happy with it. The keys feel really nice. The functions all work really well and I use them very often. (I am using Logic) This is the perfect keyboard to get you started. Would highly recommend

Good quality for good price!

If you kinda have a low budget. Def buy this keyboard! It has good faders, drum pads, nobs. Very good with those major DAWs. The little problem for me is the light key weight as a classical pianist.

Nice but not great

The Keys have a plasticky, springy feel to it. It has a lot of features but overall you can buy a better one if you can get by without all the faders and pots. Nonetheless, for the price, it's very complete.

After a few months of use, both the Mod and Pitch bend wheels as well as the fader caps have become very sticky with an abundant amount of melted glue on them. Apparently, the initial rubbery feel of the caps and wheels is obtained by covering common plastic parts with some sort of gluey layer that will, eventually, melt. Wouldn't buy it again.

Happy with my purchase

Delivery of the keyboard was relatively quick and items received were all in good condition and well packaged.

The keyboard looks and feels sturdy. The keys although not weighted, are quite responsive. You can adjust the velocity settings until you find one that suits your needs. Pianists like myself will have to get used to the touch and the slight noise of the keys, but on the whole I am quite pleased with the Nektar Impact LX88+.

It integrates well with my Cubase A1 10 DAW. The faders work well and so do the dials. The pads look nice although I don't use them much. I had to take some time to figure out how the buttons, faders and dials all work, but once I did that it became quite an enjoyable experience creating music on this versatile keyboard. I would recommend this keyboard to music enthusiasts especially music producers and composers.

Great value

Does what it says on the box. Reasonable weight to the keys, considering the price. Soft buttons feels a bit cheap, but the pitch/bend controllers er really nice.

Worked flawlessly with MacOS – no additional drivers needed.

You'll need a USB extension cable.
