I use it to connect my amplifier speaker (because it has a small cable) to a larger cable that goes to the attenuator, I have absolutely no connection problems - no unwanted noise - no disconnection in the circuit - of course we are talking about neutrik so there is no mistakes

Very stiff adapter cable, does not want to bend at all. The 2.5mm jack plug has had a piece of one of its rings broken off, fortunately it still works for now, but I have no confidence in the longevity of this cable. Besides, this cable is not suitable for the iPhone 2G (the 1st gen iPhone) at all, which has a regular 3.5mm jack socket (not 2.5mm as this listing implies). The controversial thing was that the iPhone's socket was recessed, and could only fit very narrow 3.5mm plugs. Instead of this cable, get a 3.5mm extender with a suitably thin male plug. No iPod, iPhone or iPad has ever shipped with a 2.5mm plug!
