Very good action

The action on this is very good and I actually prefer it to m-audio oxygen pro (though it does not have aftertouch). The build quality is also very nice.

Great value

As an Ableton user, I was pleasantly surprised this thing worked flawlessly right after installing the lightweight drivers. I've had some issues with another very popular brand that forced me to install bloatware and even after that I had some issues getting it to register in Ableton. Not this one though!

Having a dedicated MIDI capture button is a nice addition as well, because I don't record every jam, so this is a lifesaver. It's USB-powered which is nice. Keybed is pretty good for the price too! Drumpads feel nice and register very good, so overall, if you're looking for something that works well with Ableton and don't want to spend a lot (for whatever reason), get this one!

This is my first Novation product but they gained a new fan.

Little gem controller

Quality compact master keyboard with full keys. Sturdy built with nice bundled software package. Keybed feels good not cheap plastic. Plug and play from the box no extra software needed.

Good product and solid value

No slim, short, mini, 30% scaled down keys; you got 37 standard sized keys to shred and lay down chords with USB and MIDI OUT.

Good synth action and sensitivity, not too noisy, wheels with good grip and decently spaced rotary pots.

Pads are colorful but they aren't going to flash while you play, even when they are close to your computer monitor.

Arpeggiator, chords and scale mode are fun but I still have to dig them.

I needed lightweight a 3 octaves keyboard to hook to computer via USB and synth rack via MIDI when the 88 keys are not needed. So far I am really happy with the Novation Launchkey 37 MK3, great playability and no fluff.

It's class compliant so you don't need any software unless you want it deeply integrated with your DAW; arpeggiator, chords and scale work without any software.

Installing the free software for my DAW (Logic Pro X) transport buttons, track selections and pots are automagically working.

The bundled software is first class (Ableton, Softube, ...) if you need it.

If you need 37 standard sized keys with synth action, get this, you will get a number of extra features attached for more joy.

Thanks!
