This pedal sized Headphone Amp is a great solution for all the guitarists out there who want to play trough heaphones without busting the bank with a amp attenuator with headphone out for example. I did not want to go trough my laptop either as I try to keep my guitar experience computer free (the rest of life is full of it anyway).

So this little device does exactly what it says on the tin. It amplifies your signal enough to drive two Headphones but not enough to drive a cabinet. The sound quality is spot on. When you turn it up it gets some white noise just like your tube amp would. The response is very natural with very reactive pic attack and a very natural well rounded off tone.

The pedal has only one volume knob and no EQ. A solution was quick at hand as i added my MXR micro amp+ pedal in front of it giving me the possability to shape the sound a bit. Push some bass with my Stratocaster and take some treble out and adding a bit of drive to my overall sound.

I'm happy with the purchase and i would recommend it to anybody who wants/needs to practice/play trough headphones. At a 106 € its not the craziest priced pedal either, so a no brainer really.
