I got these as a backup in case my digital setup goes down or for playing mp3 files as background music. I was unsure because it was a brand I didnt know but having used them for alittle bit now im very happy with them and they are packed with features and being able to plug in usb drives and jog through files is a bonus. Oh and they look sleek
