Bought the fender 115 because it is only 17 kilo. I'm using it with a Warwick LWA1000 head. I've used three different instruments so far: * fender jazz with flat wound strings. * a friends active bass * upright bass (kontrabass) with shadow sh950 pickups fishman bp100 with and without the fishman pro-eq preamp For electric bass my band mate and I were quite happy with the sound when playing with fingers. Playing with a pick and distorted it did not have the punch of a 410. But we think that is just the fast attack nature of the 4x10 compared to the 1x15. The upright bass with the sh950 worked excellently both with and without the pre-amp over the Warwick head. I was not happy with the fishman sound. Apparently that is an impedance issue with the warwick that I was not clever enough to...

I purchased first Markbass Little Mark 250(from different store) I was really wondered what cabinet to buy for that amp???Was looking for something cheaper... Was checking web reviews,but could not find the answer,so... Finally decided to buy Its brother-Markbass New York 151.Its pricy,but definitely worth of its money.Quality of Markbass products is the top class! Ones connected my new rig together it was sounding great!!! From warm to quiet hard tones,and really bassy. Cabinet looks funny small cube,quality is great...sound is great aswell,and it looks really prestige!Very different look than others. On its first gig its pass the test on A with screamy JCM 800! Cabinet is quiet light-18 kg is not bad to carry. Im happy that I choose this cabinet,not other brand. Will buy soon 2 x10...

Bought this with the 2 x 10 traveler the this combo can handle 800 watts (400 watts per cab) and can fit in the back of a smart car (It was my girl friends) And is so light (20kgs i think) she can be your roadie For a 15 its very responsive and punchy, it may lack some super low frequencies of other 15s but small gigs (with out PA) or at home this shouldn't worry you, big gigs have a PA so its a monitor. But this with its 2x10 friend is loud enough with a 500 watt head (I use a little mark II at the time, Now have a bass terror as well) To get sound men asking you to turn down. Still with head room to spare!! The adjustable tweeter is cool though I may have popped mine but not had to crank it in a while and so I cant be sure. It can take speakon leads or regular Feels solid as a rock...

I use this cab with an Ampeg pf800 head and a Sandberg California TT passive bass only for rehearsals for the time. I have played very loud with it and I have played smooth also (I got it last week). I have played rock, blues, sludge, punk and funk with it in a band and it responded very good through all those genres. Pros -The portability of the cab is an awesome feature: the flip-top and the wheels, which you can put on and off with a "click" -The sound has great low end, though it remains punchy and you can hear clearly the treble and mid notes within the mix. It treats frequencies in a way so you can feel and hear the bass always through the mix. Cons -The only con that I can think of is that this cab is a perfect match for the ampeg pf amp heads and many of the features...

I bought this cab to pair it with my Aguilar 350 head Speakon connected 1x15, great sound and great definition My idea was to get a 1x15 and a 2x10 later in time to use the full 350 from my amp So far I never felt the need to purchase the 2x10 On little stages, the cab is powerful enough and I don't need to "kill" the amp head, on big stages I usually DI the head so I normally use a stage monitor in front of me and this cab on my back Never had a problem so far!! Really lightweight, I can load it on my car very easily So... this is a 5-star-anywhere to me!

My setup was the pf-800 amp with the 2x10 pf cabinet. Which was fine, but lacking in sub frequencies for sure. Also, because the speaker is an 8ohm speaker, I was not using the full headroom on the amp. Adding this pf-115LF made a major difference in the sound: Not only the headroom was greatly improved (a bit louder, but not that much, as you may know by the power/db equation), but the overall output EQ is a much more professional and powerful one, because all those sub frequencies are there now. This doesn't mean that the speaker only puts out subs. It is actually quite well balanced, and, as a ampeg should be, very powerful in the mids. I would advise this speaker to anyone using the portaflex series, and if not for the fact that it doesn't have a lid, I would be using it when I only...
