Fantastic instrument . Great tone and comfortable to play great value.
Quality for a good price
I am beginner but I play classical guitar since 30 years and I was positively surprised about the Ortega Ukuleke; it looks cute, it has an ok pick up, a inbuilt tuner and it is easy to tune stays tuned. And the sound, it has a nice sustain and a silky sound if you play it gentle and is already tight like a shaker or percussion when you play it more staccato.
Just plain spiffy!
Looks good, sounds good plugged in as well as unplugged and even feels good to play. No complaints here at all... Well one extremely minor one. I wish it came with a cloth bag or something to carry it about a bit more securely than the dust cover it came in. That is the only gripe I have with this product. That said, I love this ukulele and have not stopped playing it since it arrived on my doorstep!
I've gigged with it as well and it's been a relief to sound techs as it's up and running with a guitar lead. I've even messed with effects pedals with it. It makes for some surprisingly cute rock songs when using distortion!
