Passive DI Box

PAD, link outs, clean output signal and robust housing. These are the only 4 factors I had in mind before I purchased this DI box. I am using it with my Boss GT-1000 core for the ability to split main output signal into 2 stereo outs (1 balanced through XLR outs from DI box and 1 link outputs) so in a live context I can send stereo XLR output to venue mixer to the mixing guy, and the link outputs can be used for onstage band mixer to route through in ears, even adding metronome to the in ear signal. All in all great product.
Great and durable
Easy to set up, very durable.
Has all the features D.I. box needs.
A lot of DI for the money
Great sound, all features you need. I also use Orchide electronics DI-boxes. Cant hear any difference. Would use these in studio as well as live.
I modified these a bit with a thick rubber plate on the bottom and sides.
I think they came with small rubber feet, not sure. Now they can withstand a bit more of abuse.
I always modify my gear to my needs. Its a lot of fun.
Crisp signal for guitar use
Im a touring musician, and my guitar setup live needed a stereo DI box from the hosting party everywhere i played. This device works like a charm almost 2 years now (i think) and saves a lot of time for soundcheck.
Very clear sounding and unbiased output in my setup (wet stereo outputs from a guitar processor, including amp and cab simulations)
Plus i feel more professional having a whole rig set up, up to my own DI box. The soundguys feel that way about me too, anywhere i play.
Excellent price/quality ratio!
I own a few different Palmer D.I.'s. (active and passive) Just like the other ones this one also is made really well and it sounds good for both live and studio applications. Would definitely buy this again.
Great for the price
I have used this model for years in live environment, in a normal application the sound is great, the buttons hold well and the design is sturdy. When placed close to a big transformer (in my case it was a 50W guitar head) I have had a bit of cross-talk between the DI and the head when the gain was high. Overall the best DI for the price, just be careful where it is placed on stage.
Exceptional quality for the price
Robust, well built, sounds transparent, no extra noise.
This is a no-brainer for DI's.
Highly recommended
While nothing exciting, it's still a solid product
I've been using this thing with guitar and synths and it doesn't seem to color the sound in anyway. It's very well built and the price is good, also I personally don't find any missing features that I would need so I give it 5/5.
Great product
We use these DIs for a long time now.
never had a probleme.
If ever encountered any broom or unwanted sounds because lack of gounding, the lift ground button always saved me.
Wery good product.
This is not the first DI from Palmer and not the last for sure
I use this one on my pedalboard for a stereo situation, directly to the mixer.
It does the job perfectly, I never had any problems with it. It's built like a tank. I have another 2 (mono ones)
The only problem could be the buttons on one side, I happend to press them by accident while hooking up the cables. But if you're aware of their existence it's totally fine.
