Great price - Great quality
This DI box has been through it with me, Acoustic guitars, bass, drums, and a synth. None of it was enough to be a problem for the solidly-built DI. The sound is crisp and clear, the gain is unaffected, and the ground lift has saved me on cheap bar stages with questionable electrical systems.

Convenient stereo (or mono) DI
The DI sound is great but the main reason for getting an active DI box for me was the extra summation output to go from stereo to mono. I use a stereo (ping-pong) delay on an acoustic guitar and when a sound engineer decides at the last minute that I'll go mono instead of stereo I can just give them the L+R output and I don't loose half of my delay anymore!
The DI can be powered via Phantom Power from the table or via my pedalboard's power supply, and since it has roughly the size of a medium effect pedal it fits well at the end of my pedalboard.
