Palmer PLS-02 Line Splitter

We use it for dispatching signals on multiple devices. Sound distribution between speakers, recorders, and so on are way more clean and easy. You just use one cable between your console and the directors table, to provide your program to every devices. Clean and very low profile, the body is in aluminium aircraft grade, very sturdy, very compact, yet a bit heavy but you'll love it. I recommend to buy several ones, that's a lot of time spared and also lot of ground problems and shitty Y cables eliminated !
ART Splitcom Pro

I've bought this for a specific reason. I Run 2 BOSE L1s with B2 subs.. and use a Mackie DL806 desk.. I needed only to have one BOSE system in a venue for an event, but needed more inputs than the BOSE Tonematch had. I used a lead from 2 - XLR outs (desk) to a Stereo jack in for the BOSE PA. I got such a strange sound, like a crazy reverb and low volume levels, but had no reverb on the desk. I ended up using just the left channel, wasn't happy with the sound that night.. something was missing. I looked into why and found that, the lead doesn't 'SUM' the outputs to create a clean balanced signal. Hence why I've bought the ART Splitcom Pro. I now should be able to have a stereo signal 'SUMMED' into one lead. I can guarantee someone else has had this problem. Hope this review will...
Cranborne Audio N22

Also alles sauber getrennt, kein Umstecken, einfach Schalter umlegen, ein Traum!

Surprisingly useful! I bought one of these a few years ago and can't count the number of times it's come in handy. Particularly great for A/B testing preamps using the exact same mic and performance rather than doing multiple takes. So useful that I've bought a second one so I can test stuff in stereo! I've also used this live with my band to split a backing singer into a vocoder without needing 2 mics. It's not a super tough-feeling unit, but I've never had any durability issues in practice.
the t.racks DS2418

I needed a simple solution to drive 3 pairs of studio monitors without much hassle and the t.racks DS2418 gave me exactly that. It takes up only 1U in the rack, has an IEC connector (kettle lead) for power, and XLR inputs and outputs for audio. After opening the box I was surprised that the device is lot heavier than expected, but I quickly realized why. It is built like a tank, and judging by the weight I would say there is a decent power supply inside, which is also supported by the fact that I could not hear any signal coloring or degradation, the unit sounds completely transparent. Setting up things couldn't be any easier, I just plugged my audio interface directly into the DS2418, plugged in the speakers, selected the 2x4 configuration for stereo distribution, then matched the gain...
Behringer ULTRALINK MS8000

We use this splitter to produce a duplicate signal for each of our 8 channels going to the mixer. These are connected to a USB audio interface which is used for multi-channel recording. Meanwhile, the main 'thru' signal goes to the mixer as normal. The splitter makes possible this separation of live sound and recording, and that simplifies things greatly. We've been v pleased by the sound quality. Well done Behringer on a quality product!! It's also great that the Phantom Power from the mixer can pass through the splitter to power DI boxes and condenser mics on stage... but is electrically isolated from the duplicate output (which we use for recording). For us, this has made recording live gigs very easy.
Radial Engineering X-AMP

I'm a guitar player and sound engineer running a small studio. I love to record big rock massive guitar sounds, and i bougth this reamp box aiming to expand my work flow and tones. It actually did it! The sound is really nice. I've made a comparison recording first the guitar directly connected in the amp, and than in the audio interface going through the reamp box and the amp. There is an important difference in the results. The recorded guitar connected direct in the amp was sweeter and fuller, but the reamp box was still pretty good and gave an usable sound for further mixing. Obiviously the AD converter as a fault in degradind the guitar signal, for this test i used a fireface 400. Overall im happy with this product. It's built like a tank, really solid, the power supply is amazing...
Palmer PGA 03 Y-Box Guitar Splitter
Based on 10 reviews
I use this pga03 ybox to split my guitar to two amp heads and this box of magic is fantastic. There is no loss of signal and it is a a solid piece of kit; there is no chance of it falling apart or letting you down. The jack connections seem pretty high quality and it has good battery life. The phase reverse and ground lift functions are handy as well. The pga03 is great and looks cool too with a nice blue finish. What is great about the ybox is that there is no humming or buzzing, it is one of the best signal splitters out there. This is my favourite tool, it allows me to run two signal chains, going through each channel of my compressor to both my amps. It has a solid built metal casing which after a year is still in as new condition. Runs on batteries or a power supply and mine came...
ART S8 Microphone Splitter

We are a 5-piece band playing Hungarian folk songs with classical rock arrangements (drums, bass, 2 guitars, vocals). Drums are electric, all guitars coming from line, no amps. We use a Soundcraft UI16 for mixing where we can save all our settings. However, some venues require to provide them not only with L/R outputs but separated vocals, instruments, etc. There comes this fine little unit (we actually have two in our rack to have 16 tracks): mics, instruments go to its input, from one output we go to our mixer, the other, galvanically separated output goes to FOH as required by the venue - and everybody is happy. We can use our usual monitor settings and FOH can be mixed by the local professional sound guy. Art S8 is built like a tank, it does not color the sounds in any way and just...
Millenium SML 21

As a sound guy, I never heard true stereo from a band, room size and other un'predictable reflections make stereo a "not so sure", so I got this XLR signal merger and now only need one XLR wire back to the stage from my stereo mixing desk. I know this is mono, but it saves so much work reeling out my 30 meter cable when the 10 meter X 6 will do the job in Mono. Plus, any sound guy worth their salt can have the sound "cracked tight" 1/2 way through the first number. I now daisy chain the main JBL's and stage monitors, have to sneak around onstage now & again to tweak the active monitors, but sound guys need to be seen onstage sometimes. This little box uses a transformer to keep all signals separate & safe from harm with very little loss of signal. A great...
