I was extremely unsure if I should buy an expensive speaker for my beginner drummer career to upgrade my already not so cheap Roland TD-17. But after almost a year of playing, I can say, I do not regret it! Actually, it opened up a new “world” to me since now I can play with my friends together. In the beginning it felt quite weird to be so “exposed” to everyone since I was only used to play with headphones. But now it is much more fun to play “properly”. The sound quality itself seems very good to me (as far as I can evaluate that since I am no expert). I use the speaker also for watching movies and have it always connected to my computer since it has 2 input connections which are so nicely adjustable. It offers much more sound than any other computer...

Damn thing so good I ordered another! For this price I wasnt expecting much, but love this thing to bits. The tone controls are a bit weird & seem to interact with each other. Initially I thought the thing was crap, but after I realised how the controls worked I managed to dial in a great tone. Only slight issue is the on/off switch, which is a soft control & tends to switch off after a period of disuse. Good thing I suppose, but keeps catching me out.

I usually use headphones when I'm rehearsing at home with a backing track but all my wife could hear was banging. So, I bought this monitor so she could hear my rehearsals in context to the song. When it arrived it was lighter than I expected. It was simple to get started. A two pin power cable, two 1/4" jacks (L & R or mono) and a 1/8" audio input. The sound is dissappointing at first. It took me a while to adjust the balance between my Drum brain, audio in and woofer control on the PM-03. I've had for a week now and I am happy with it. If you are looking for a monitor for gigs look elsewhere. This is a good bedroom monitor only.
