Excellent sound, not only for bass

This amp is a great combo. With aux input I use it for home practice. The unit meets all my requirements exactly. It's small, lightweight, easy to handle and powerful in a discreet black design.

I was deeply confused about the description as "vented box". I've been worried about a noisy fan. The unit has no fan.

The term "vented enclosure" means bass reflex box. That's the opposite of "sealed enclosure" - the compact box.

Nice feature: After half an hour silence the amp enters a sleep mode. Blue power LED turns off. With next signal from the instrument on input the amp is awaking within seconds.

Blue power LED glows up again.

Nice looking amplifier, solid construction, and then it does not weigh that much. The sound is good though not the same deep bass sound as from a larger speaker unit of course. The sound when using headphones is a bit disappointing, especially the aux input changes the sound so that it seems very flat, not the same experience as with the headphones directly in the phone / sound module. From the beginning there was a "hissing sound" when the notes from the bass faded out both at low and high volume. I have sent the amplifier back and have got the money back, thinking a bit before I decide which amplifier I want to buy instead.

Excellent sound quality, and louder than you'd expect

Bought as a practice amp; the sound quality is crystal clear and shows up all my bad habits - exactly what you need in a practice amp.

It can deliver growl and punch when you need it, too - it even handles the low B from my five string well.

It's everything I was looking for except for one thing: the feature list on the website is wrong about the DI - it doesn't have one - you need to get an external DI box which can be fed from the line out on the amp. I have a DI on one of my pedals anyway, so it's not a deal-breaker for me.

Other than the (for me) very minor DI complaint, I'm very happy with it and would recommend.
