We bought a 3/4 size for a violin. Very good strings. Suitable for both students and professional musicians.

It has the iconic Pirazzi "ringing" sound (very bright) and unbeatable projection power. G and D strings suit perfectly for our needs, A string is a little bit "metallic" and lack of complexity on our violin.

The set in time is about 2-3 days. Only complain is the fairly short lifespan - in our case is three weeks.

Quality strings

These are a bit long for a half size, so you may have to cut a bit off the end to get them to fit in the peg box. Normally would use steel strings for beginners as they stay in tune more reliably, but these were for a good quality instrument so I felt it was worth it for the improved sound quality. A little patience needed as to be expected, for them to settle and get played in. Suggest fitting at least 4 days before giving to a student if possible.
