Pirastro Obligato C Double Bass 4/4-3/4

Having used a few different strings on my bass I now only use Obligatos, they offer the best of both the arco and pizz sound. The c-string specifically has a lot more body to it than others I have used with a lovely pizz growl for playing jazz.
Thomastik Präzision C 4/4 Bass

I play rockabilly slap bass and I needed really low tension so i bumped all the strings down and used A as E, D as A, G as D and was in need for C to be used as G, hence my purchase. The string served very well in that purpose and sounded really good despite being in incredibly low tension. I did not tried playing arco and I didn't tried it in its original C tension.
Pyramid Gold Double Bass C String

Bought for my double bass a while bass. I usually use Rotosounds but thought I would try some steel strings instead. The string has a terrible thin sound and does not stay in tune even after being on the bass for a couple of weeks
