Excellent tone
This string is a bit harder in open E but the sound is overall rounder.
Advisable for brighter violins.

I like Pirastro strings very much...
I like the Pirastro strings, because it has a good sound , are durable and resistant to dry weather and wet ...I play violin and I use just Pirastro strings
