Strings

Superb quality and comfort, great for my violins.

Lovely resonance but not really warm sounding

These string have a great, full, clear and bright sound. Great resonance and hardly have to be retuned. If you are looking for a warm sound I would try other string instead, otherwise these are very nice.

My Favourite Strings

I am not a classical player and I hardly ever venture beyond third position, For someone like me, these strings are lovely to play, sound really nice, are affordable and you sound different to majority of Dominant players.

Pros

Very good quality AND affordable strings. I love the tone and playability of these strings.

Cons

Non for informal playing, I can't speak for serious or classical players.

Pirastros

These have a nice mellow sound and much calmer and less punchy than most other violin strings at teh same price point. Great if you like the mellowness.

Great strings, low tension (in my case it was must) that does not affect the sound quality in a good instrument. A string set that could be perfect even for a professional.

very nice warm sounding strings

The Violino set is much to my liking. It is warm sounding, the strings feel soft under the fingers - in line with that low tension feel, the volume output is a little bit on the low side, which does not bother me at all. I think they are the ideal student strings. And with 'student' I mean a person who is entitled to get best value for money and who is rewarded with actually sounding good, for all the effort he puts into the learning process.

Violinos tend to go bland after some six months, so change them timely.

note : I have not mounted the E string in this set so this review does not cover that particular string at this time.
