I am a complete beginner to the pan flute but have found this 18 pipe model excellent for learning on. It was delivered quickly to New Zealand and arrived well packaged. I am teaching myself through books and YouTube videos. This pan flute is light to hold and feels good in hand, an important point. It has a lovely tone and I feel as if I am making excellent progress with it. I highly recommend both the Gewa flute and the service I have received. I look forward to many entertaining years ahead.

Quite easy to learn and fun. Way to impress musical friends. Includes a nice instruction leaflet. The tuning might be a bit unexpected, but easy to get used to. A good piece to have in a bag of a multi-instrumentalist.

This pan flute is a good alternative to other brands in this price range, but the unwaxed natural finish of the wood is somewhat grating to the lips when first played, but becomes more smooth with playing. Is also more sensitive to weather changes and moisture, but feels sturdy in the hand. Some notes are a bit sharp and a few also a bit more unresponsive than the rest, but plays reasonably well through the entire register.

I'm not an expert by any means on wind instruments, but I liked the idea of a cheap set of panpipes so grabbed these. Sounds fine, plays fine and feels sturdy. I'm happy with them at any rate.

For a beginner flautist like me this instrument is very difficult to play - but once you get an actual sound of it, it's simply beautiful! This instrument is major fun for a minor cost.
