Active Studio Monitor

An impressive addition to my home studio
Eris E5 XT turned out to be a surprisingly powerful speaker with a convenient array of outputs an knobs/switches to finetune the sound.
Build-wise, it looks and feels very solid.
Buying a pair was a great investment, and I'm sure I'll find some use for them outside of my home studio too.
properly reliable
nowt to complain about
plugged them in
played some music through them
possibly the best non-pa speakers I've ever used
few years later and a few house moves, they're still going with barely a scratch
really nice brilliance on the tops with these too
and they don't have that really annoying 50Hz hum you get with cheaper speakers
great monitors
Good monitors for small rooms
great for the price
as its said. great speakers fot this price tag. switch button on the back bannel...thats - 1 star for features. all you speaker manufacturers must see adam monitors with switch on front pannel...
Great for a home studio
Very good build quality, although the speaker itself may appear too large given the size of the woofer. The bass reflex ports are on the front side which is great if you have to place the monitors close to the wall.
Overall, they are surprizingly bassy for 5-inch monitors, especially compared to Eris 4.5 which I have connected to my TV as media speakers. The sound quality itself is decent given the price - they are transparent, offer good stereo image, and provide enough clarity in the minimally treated room.
Great upgraade
Wanted t o upgrade from 3.5" speakers...new Eris5 hit the spot.. great sound, great build quality and very happy overall
Good monitor
These are my first monitors, they do their job perfectly, very clean sound, who needs more bass, I advise you to take the E8XT version
I buy them with PreSonus AudioBox iOne for home use and they are perfect for me
Presonus Eris E5 XT - the best I've met
I was pleasantly surprised when I listened to these monitors for the first time: pure sound, possibility of flexible adjustment of frequencies and bands. In practice, I use it for writing music, mixing and just listening to my favorite tracks. In my opinion, these monitors are ideal for relatively small rooms of less than 15-20 square meters. These "kids" can rock any well-mixed track. They can be used not only in studios, but also at home, despite the fact that these monitors are the short-range. I Recommend for purchase, you will not regret. Excellent value for money and quality.
Excellent studio monitors
I love these things ! For the price point , you can’t do any better. The build quality is very sturdy and high quality . The sound is great ! For mixing I just roll off the highs a little to get a more accurate sound . It has all the things you could need for a “bedroom studio”. I did connect them to a different power source than my laptop ,Instruments, etc . I’ve had zero hum , no speaker popping, etc . I put them on some Pyle stands with isopads and they rock!
