Somehow I prefer the raw feel on drums sticks and have been using these almost exclusively

A little more "slippery" than the lacquered ones, bu very good sticks anyway!

Great stick, little longer than the standard 5a. I’m 6ft 2 so play with a longer stick. Raw hickory took a little while to get used to but I prefer the feel now to a varnished type.

durable, perfect grip and balance

These are my main and go-to sticks. I like the weight, the tip, and especially the natural feel. Supposedly it's perfect for drummers with sweaty hands, but to me they are just perfect because of their grip while at the same time there's no sticky lacquer. Over time the sticks become smoother. For my playing they are very durable. Also, they're cheap compared to other high-end sticks.

Great sticks for any style!!

Have always used Pro Mark sticks and have toyed with various types over the years but I always come back to wood tip versions. Nice weight and plenty of power from these sticks. Nice attack on cymbals.
