Excellent lightweight guitar

Before purchasing this Vela SH, I only had an Epiphone Les Paul Standard Pro with P-Rails installed. The Epi is great, but it is too heavy. I usually end up having back pain after a while. Also, I do not dig the clean sounds as much as the high gain.

The Vela is extremely light and versatile. The middle position has a beautifull chime and sweetness that I cannot get with the Les Paul/P-rails in any position. The two pickups can handle high gain too, especially the humbucker. Comfort is spot on. The guitar came very well set up with a relatively low action and I only had to tune it.

The nut-width is nice, it does not feel cramped in the first few freats. The neck shape is comfortable, although very slightly on the thick side for my taste and certainly thicker than the neck of my LP.

Freat access in the upper freats is fantastic thanks to the cut outs.

The included gigbag is nothing to care about, but at least it has a decent amount of padding.

Very happy with the purchase.
