Nice sounds - poor fretboard work

Very nice sounds from the pickups in all positions..aggresice sound with spank and punch but also mellow. I really like it very much but the work on the fretboard and frets was very poor..some frets were taller than other, to keep it i must send it to my luthier and do a 100€ job to make the fretboard and frets as they must be.. Overall very nice sounding but i will not keep it because of the quality of fretboard..

My opinion

The short answer - and there are no surprises here - is that she does everything you'd hope to get from a good S-type, but does it with more ease and aplomb than you'd probably get from many direct copies or reissues of this breed at this price.

The poplar body provides a sound similar to what I would expect to hear from a Strat with an alder body, maple fingerboard and rosewood fingerboard, and archetypal glass flickering, clicking and quacking are all part of the sound arsenal of these pickups.

However, there's more volume in this sound than in many traditional S-types, with good meat behind every pickup position when you're working hard, and an impressive lack of icy treble.

Brilliant strat i love it!

Brilliant strat and my favourite guitar right now. My fender custom shop strat can take a break right now as its done a lot heavy lifting for years. This guitar exceeded all my expectations.

Very happy with my PRS SE Silver Sky

I am now playing one week on my new PRS SE Silver Sky guitar and for me it is the perfect guitar. Playability, quality, tone I give it all 5 stars.

Don't need my Fender Stratocaster and Hamer Guitar anymore.

Beautiful guitar, but...

Unplayable due to high 10th fret. I don't understand how this passes quality control... Requested a replacement.

PRS Sikver Sky, Stone blue

After ordering this guitar I had a three months wait. It’s very popular. When I finally got it, in my preferred colour as well. I understood why there was a waiting list. Very complete guitar. A lot of attention to details and the details are at a high level. The mics are exceptional. Very clear and rich. I have a Vintera 60s Strat as well and the SS is so much clearer and beautiful sounding. If you are thinking of this guitar. Buy it. It’s so much worth it. I can not recommend this guitar more. For the price you get a superb and easily played guitar with the PRS quality included. 10/10.

Excelente relação preço / qualidade

A guitarra é leve e aparenta ser mais pequena que as Strats talvez devido à cabeça e forma. O setup vinha no ponto, bem melhor que as Strat Mexicanas. Ainda assim não está ao nível das Ultra, mas na relação preço qualidade, não creio que exista melhor. Os pickups são quentes e volumosos. De tal forma que os tive de baixar um pouco pois estavam-me a fazer confusão, especialmente no ataque da palheta. A ponte está assente no corpo segundo o gosto do JM mas não está mal. A guitarra mantêm-se afinada mais facilmente desta forma e não dá chatices sempre que se mudam as cordas. Pensava que ia ficar desiludido com os plásticos dos afinadores e da protecção do truss rod mas até ficam bem e são de boa qualidade. Boa compra sem dúvida

Amazing

There's nothing to complain about. It feels amazing. The build quality is great. Frets shine like crazy and fret ends are superb. The sound is fantastic. It even came clean out of the box - there's no dirt on my finger tips after playing. The only thing that needs adjustment is pickup height.

I wonder if I got really lucky with mine or if they are just that well made.

I really wanted the core version but I wonder how much better can it be than this.. Personally, I'm very satisfied.

Just keep in mind that I don't have much to compare to - I have Classic Vibes and had Vintera for a short period.
