Top in class after fine tuning

So I had been looking at various models in the price range of about 800 - 1100€. I looked at reviews and tested many guitars in stores from all available brands.

For me, this particular model by Raimundo won Gold. For the price, fantastic quality. It is a real eye-catcher and is even more pleasing to the ear. Every note comes out cleanly and precisely. The mids, lows, and bass are very balanced and sing nicely without resistance. It is very versatile.

The only reason I took off a star ist because I will have to get it adjusted by a luthier, as the final touch on the saddle and bridge didn't satisfy me. However this is to be expected from guitars in this price range and is something that is easily adjusted. On the criteria that would't be able to be adjusted (sound, precise & clean note delivery, wood selection and wooden construction), this guitar absolutely delivers.

Lovely - eventually

Bought this after seeing Tatyana's promotional video.

It's a beautiful looking instrument and I really like the sound. (Mine is spruce)

When it arrived, however, I'd have to say that it was pretty much unplayable. There was a lot of fret-buzz on the lower strings. In my earlier days with electric guitars I would have assumed that a quick adjustment of the truss-rod would sort it, but of course, this doesn't have one.

A bit of time (and money) with a luthier solved the problem and I'm now very happy with it.

I think it's a great instrument for the price, but it was clearly not set up well or tested before dispatch.
