The Skyntone heads are suitable for use on the snare drum in both concert and drum set applications
With minimal attack and controlled high frequencies the Skyntone have a very warm sound even when used on steel snares
This makes them ideal for live gigs in concert halls where "normal" metal snares often sound too sharp and tinny
On the drum set, the Skyntones offer a warm controlled sound at higher tuning with an excellent surface for brushes
