Remo 13" Vintage A Coated
Drumhead

Some of the best heads available
Bought this to put on my early 70's gretsch SSB kit. Tonally, it doesn't get much better!
Nice for jazz
Very nice sound for jazz toms, good coating that seems not easy to get nicked or cratched off. Nice rounded stick response even at higher tensions and especially good for brush work! To my ears it's not the same as normal Ambassadors, the grain on the coating is a bit coarser.
Great for Vintage Kits and possibly others
I boutht this and others sizes to go on my Ludwig 1976 3 Ply Pro Beat. They changed the tone and produce a very deep mellow tone that is very pleasing on recordings. The snare one is also excellent and good rough coating for Brush work.
