vintage sounding drum head
This drum head is ideal to tame a bright snare, it gives a warmer sound but sometimes can sound a little boxier than coated ambassador. After comparing to real calf drum head, it don't find it to sound too close to what it is supposed to emulate. Can have some utility if your after an ancient field drum sound on a metal snare or want less cutting from a too powerful drum. Center of drum head bubbles too soon (2 months) if played with energy. After that the head is still good but you can't play brushes anymore on it.
