Does the Job
it's pretty silent and takes some tuning to get any tone out of it, much more so than the other silent heads. Adding gaffa tape to all these heads does improve the tone - a bit., I use them with triggers anyway. However these were bought for low volume, not tone so no complaints and as the title says, it does the job and a pretty good one.
Good Quality
This is really nice, great quality as you'd expect from Remo and it triggers really well with out annoying the neighbours. I did find it hard to get a realistic feel though compared to the snare and tom versions. It's a little bit springy but maybe I haven't tightened enough.
