Really amazed me! Very good quality and brilliant look as well!

Best of both

This head works brilliantly as a resonant head. You can get quite a deep and punchy sound from it, paired with a kickport it does the job perfectly.

The mirror chrome effect is pretty incredible, but be careful with finger marks as it will get covered in them very quickly!

These heads can look rather tacky on some kits, I was lucky as I've used it on an acrylic kit with chrome bass drum hoops so it matches well.

It's a mirror

You could literally hang one of these on a wall as a mirror. Great 80's look. Head wise, it's about ambassador weight. No re-ring. But that's fine. My kick is dampened anyway.

Not that good.

The strafer is good if you purchase it in a local shop, after being sent it was full of bubbles, due to heat? cold? I don't know, although it does not affect the sound, that's not the reason you buy this head for, You want looks, & perfect looks. Be careful on purchase.

Like a mirror.....!!!!!

I ordered this as a resonant head for an old Tama kit i have from the 70's.....the kit is silver and i thought this might look nice with it. I was wrong.......it looks freakin' AWESOME...!!!! This head is like a mirror......reflects stage light and shines beautifully.

Sound wise its great too....it's a Remo so you can't go to far wrong.

Looks wise this is a winner for me....makes your kit stand out.
