Perfect fir for my Meinl LC300NT-M Luis Conte Bongo. Excellent sound and projection with a crip/clear loud volume/sound. The surface feels great on the hands and fingers since is not sticky or/and slick. This head is just SMOOTH! You can really tuned up this heads and they will retain and maintain the tuning for longer periods of time and/or different types of temperature (weather) . The great thing about synthetic skins is that you don't need to detune or loosen the heads in order to preserve the life of it which is a super mega plus quality feature. I Highly,HIGHLY recommend this head to anyone that is looking for a great sound with a long lasting tuning. Your bongo will love you for it!

I was very happy with the replacement, it was very easy to get the sound I want. Unfortunately, I left my bongos in the dusty room over a night and a day after I found a scratch on the surface, so you should really take care and cover the heads when not used.

My previous, cheap bongo head split after about 6 months of use, so I bought this LP Aspire bongo head as a replacement. It is great, real cow hide so it is super durable, I doubt I will need to change this head again! It sounds good as well, for an in expensive drum head.

Ended up soaking these in water and reforming them to fit my decidedly-not-standard-sized bongos, the end result was a hacky workable product, all in all I think they're good value if you just need quick replacement skins or for DIY projects such as me.
