I?ve used hydraulic heads in the past and was never overly pleased with them, but I?d said I?d give them another go. Picked up three of these for my roto toms. Now every drummer I know said it would be crazy to use hydraulic heads with roto toms, but to my relief they ended up sounding amazing! If you?re looking to get sime fat sounding, funky roto toms, then I suggest you slap a fee of these on. I would highly recommend it! 10/10

The brand name speaks on its own ... I use pinstripes in almost all of my drumkit and love it in my octobans ... simply what I need for that pieces of my drumkit

Using this type of head on low Octobans for years. Provide clear projection with distinct attack. Last for many gigs. Sound great mic'd up.

I bought four of these to put on my Tama Octobans and it has never been easier to keep them in tune and sounding great. They held a C major tuning throughout a weeklong recording session.

Recently I made the switch to Evans heads after over 20 years using another major brand and i won't be going back! Just a great tuning range and really easy to seat in the drum thanks to Evans' 360 level technology. Would recommend having a look at Evans!!
