Un excellent tambour

Il m'accompagne dans toutes mes formations chamaniques depuis des années et il reste impeccable malgré l'intensité que je lui demande souvent. Le grand avantage du tambour synthétique est de rester stable malgré la météo, les peaux naturelles sont sensibles à l'humidité de l'air.

exactly what I needed

I would say that the sound of the drum is more beautiful in reality than on the sample recording. It has very warm overtones which bring you immediately to an ecstatic state. The size is very handy and makes it comfortable to hold the drum. It is quite loud, but that doesn't disturb me. I use it in sound healing activities and jamming sessions.

Amazing drum!!!

I love the size and sound of this drum, it's easy and comfortable to hold and has a deeper resonance than the smaller remo drums which is great for me as I use it to lead singing circles . I also like that remo drums as they are vegan they don't wear off over time and you don't have to re-tune them all the time.

Perfection

A well made and well finished drum. You can provoke a range of moods from this instrument just with the mallet provided, but the instrument encourages the use of others, both soft and hard, or my favourite, with just the hand. In brief, well done to Remo for producing a quality instrument.

vegan shamanic drum

I am vegan hence I went for a Remo which I know is well respected for shamanic journeying. I didn't know there was a different in sound between the white & the black version.I had only experience the black before. The white white one is a lighter and higher sound the black one is deeper and has more base.

I wish though the handle was a little more comfortable or mad from more natural material, I help it by putting a litte piece of cloth around it

Deep and rich sound

Very deep, ROARING sound, you can feel the air vibrating as you play it. Eventually I painted the surface (which is possible because of its synthetic skin).

Great drum for traditional and studio use.

Great quality instrument. I bought it as gift for a friend who uses it for meditation and traditional drumming but I liked the way it sounded so much I borrow it to use on my own recordings to add a bit of oomf to the percussion. Shame it doesn't come with the case though, but all round a good purchase.
