Fav head at the moment

Currently I have these on my Mapex Saturn kit. Sounds AWESOME! Plenty of punch, but nothing over the top. Plenty of warmth, but still controllable sustain. Tuning is easy, plenty of body in the tone. The coating might not the most durable, but... we are hitting it after all.

No problems with these

I really recommend the Remo Emperor Coated! I have an Alesis Dm-10 studio drum-set and I changed these coatings to it and now it is a lot nicer to play the set and the noise is not that bad than it was with the original coatings.

Nice head

I'm matching this up with a 10" vintage emperor ..tuned tightly for a percussive sound and the two sound great together.
