Practice your rimshots
Not the most silent pratice pad, but very nice feel an the option to rimshot
my first
this is my first practice pad and its realy great, the only downside is that it get abit too loud wen played hard. ive used this practise pad for a while now the main problem with it is that its just too nosiy and makes it hard to practise when there are people around
main practice pad as of now
nice realistic feel, however i feel the flat-head screw driver tool bolts are not thought through, would make way more sense to use standard tension rods, also louder than when practicing as obviously is not rubber
Good for starters and more advanced learners
Remo is a quality brand and this product is a good example of it. It's perfect for both beginners and advanced percussionists, for rudiments and other practices. The only downside, which probably can't really be avoided with drum products, is that it does wear a bit after a lot of use.
Fantastic practice pad.
I got this practice pad for warming up before gigs etc. and also practicing rudiments in the house without doing anyone's head in. The fact that you can tune it is a great feature as you can make it more responsive or if your working on your chops you can loosen it right up. The fact that it has a rim is great aswell because you can practice your rim shots which is not possible on some practice pads as they do not have a rim.
