Great entry-level banjo

Played guitar for a lifetime, and have a wall full of other stringed instruments, so thought I'd try the banjo. Sounds great, plays well, but the bridge was not well cut and I had to deepen the outtermost grooves so the strings would stay in place.

Quite good for it's price

What a beautiful banjo to look at! Sounds good to my ear. Some hick-ups on the finish here and there and the bridge is made only to just get the job done. Frets don't snag and the bone nut won't break like on my last banjo it did.

Changing the strings and adjusting the truss rod ought to make this a great entry level banjo! The web has lots of instruction for doing this.

On my first impression I would recommend this!
