One of the best I've ever used
comfortable, great audio quality, very durable feel. light weight, works really nicely with my roland fp30x digital piano. also tested it for gaming, not at all disappointed. 10/10 recommend.
The plastic earpiece holder broken
After almost one year of usage, the plastic that holds the earpiece of the headphone to the piece that goes around your head has broken to pieces. It is not because of falling, but because I lift the headphone from the earpiece. This means that the plastic part that hold the earpiece is not strong enough to carry the weight of the whole headphone. This is just sad since my cheaper studio headphone from Presonus really stand the harsh condition of falling or pulled. For sound absorbing purpose, my studio was all covered by 1cm thick carpet so, falling is not an issue in the first place. The headphone, when it was new, has an amazing comfort to use and also the sound is quite clear. Not so well if you are dealing with plenty of bass. But, again, those are subjective and you should try it on your own. Just one tipp: don't lift the headphone by the earpiece, an absolute wrong design with cheap plastic material.
Rode NTH100M
Rode are always good quality - this is no exception..
I bought it as a simple solution for doing my 'DJ' bits on an Online Folk Music programme I contribute to (Hearts of Folk on KCR FM)
I previously used separate headphones, Microphone & Audio Interface but now I just plug directly into my M2 Mac Pro - Simple...
The sound quality using the Mac is OK for what I'm using it for but if you want top quality sound use a separate interface.
This isn't due to the quality of the Mic - It's the interface in the Mac that's not so good!
