This is an excellent conducting baton. It is perfectly balanced where the handle meets the stick, and the handle is the ideal size for a proper grip. The quality of finish and durability are very good indeed, and the supplied tube keeps the baton safe in storage/transit.

Nice baton that has its centre of gravity closer to the handle end than the middle of the stick. Nice feel on the wooden handle that is finished but not polished and waxed so much that the handle becomes slippy in use. I'd happily buy another of these if I ever lost it.

It is a very light and well finished baton. It has a very pretty wooden handle and it is very well balanced with a perfect weight and feel. This product is inexpensive and very dependable. I strongly recommend it for students and experienced conductors.

The baton is very heavily weighed towards the metal handle and feels very different to the other wooden batons I have used in the past. The baton is extremely nimble and feels very comfortable in the hand, and the shaft is painted a rilliant white making it easily visible to performers in ensembles of all sizes: I have used it to conduct a brass band (extensively), a choir, massed choir and brass band and a full symphonic wind band orchestra with accompanying choir without a problem. My only criticisms are the extortionate price tag and the build quality of the baton. For the price paid for the item, the handle is extremely easy to dent and scratch and the paint comes off the carbon fibre shaft very easily. Slightly disappointed with build quality, but overall an excellent and unique baton.
