Im bummed that the app isnt easier to use, and it frequently crashes. But the Axe itself is worth it.

easy to use but...

very simple and user friedly for live , but a bit complicated specially for arpeggio setup change (must enter the sound and save), and mobile app editing via bluetooth . Sound is good , considering value for money.

Great instrument, great control possibilities

I didn't take keytar seriously until I saw a DJ guy on Youtube doing the coolest things with it. Immediately fell in love. As singer/songwriter, I'm primarily using it for filling in solo sections because I'm much more native with keyboard than guitar. For sure the sensation is quite different from playing regular keyboards, but honestly it's pretty easy to adapt especially you have the sensation of playing guitar on strap. The synth engine seems really deep. The tone parameters are all editable by smartphone app and there are even guys selling their patches in the wild. A new time sucker!

I love it

This device is one of its kind, it looks amazing, and the tones are also amazing, easy to handle and Bluetooth connection is awesome, having all keys in black is something new and nice, also you can operate with batteries for more freedom.

Perfect weapon

I use this keytar mostly for live performances and sometimes for recording. It fits my needs for playing with backing tracks as a one man show. The only thing I would hope is a rechargeable battery instead of standard battery compartment to make it wireless more easily.

The best keytar...

This is the best keytar I have used. Excellent tones.. Great ergonomics.. Some cons are that I would say is that the USB player plays only 48 Bit songs. You need to convert all the songs to 48 Bit. Only Ni NH batteries can be used. Needed an option to use alkaline or lithium also. The adapter cable could have been a bit longer. But all these are petty issues. The quality of AX Edge beats them all.. Go for it..

Excellent Synth all round !!

PROS: I think this is worlds apart from the AX-Synth!

The Sounds in the Edge are amazing, the ability to program via Bluetooth makes it very easy to customise your Synth.

nice keyboard to play too!

CONS: only works with rechargeable Batteries... yet to see how this pans out!
