Roland TM-1 Trigger Module

Simple to use, has a convenient phone app (though you need to find a USB-B to micro-usb or type-C cable, depending on what your device uses) and reliable.

The footswitch idea for changing samples is great.

I took the risk and bought this eventhough there were no reviews for it. Now I can write a quick one. I use it for fast kick trigerring with the Roland trigger on a single kick drum (tempos up to 210bpm 16th notes). The handling using the app is simple, there's very minimal latency and the module is built very good. Definetly recommend it to anyone!

Useful and functional

The stand out feature is the ability to enhance and augment the primary acoustic drum sound in club venues where drum micing is unavailable or inconvenient . The supplementary layered sounds available are sufficient to fill out the physical acoustic sound when processed through the PA. This is achievable as the on board sounds are in the main relevant , useful and applicable .
