Works great for headphone-wearing drummer

We have a drummer who uses an e-drum kit and wears headphones (as they are a little hard of hearing). This unit works really well to let them mix between the drum kit and a monitor mix of the rest of the band. Very solid and a nice alternative to having to have a full IEM setup.

Simple

Excellent bit of kit, perfect for drummers to have click on one channel and monitor on the other.

Great little box of tricks

This excellent personal monitor amp is very compact and has exactly the features most people will want. The only downside is the configuration options, they are, a bit cheap in that they are literally jumpers on the board inside the unit to select a ground lift or mono vs stereo option. These are fiddly to change and you can easily loose the jumper into the box if you aren't careful. The volume and mic level controls feel good quality with a nice pro damped feel. The connectivity is also good with the ability to monitor your mic feed independantly of the monitor mix coming to the unit.

Great for "more of me!"

We have a set of these, and some Rolls PM351 boxes and a couple of the PS16 boxes. Each person can independently add more of their own mic (and with the PM351, mic and instrument) to whatever monitor mix is available. You could build a decent in-ear monitor system for a whole band with just these and a FOH feed, even better if you can send a couple of monitor mixes from the mixing console. Users and sound techs need to know there is no limiter built in to these, so to be careful when plugging/unplugging mics etc.

Just what I needed!

I have been having problems hearing the rest of the band when playing live and had tried a number of things to resolve it.

The rolls personal amp has solved all the issues not only can I hear perfectly but I can control the volume on my head mike when not singing. Build and sound quality is excellent and its compact enough to be easily stored in a tool box. Highly recommended.
