Musilia P2 Violin Case TBLU/STD

This carbon-fibre case is remarkably light and clearly very strong. The two halves of the case are edged with a rubber seal which fits closely enough to keep out rain and/or dust and the locks operate smoothly. There is adequate room for the usual accessories, rosin, tuner, cleaning cloth etc,. The shoulder rest is held firmly by two Velcro straps. There are four bow holders with secure turn-buckles. The instrument itself is gently but firmly held in a suspension system which holds it away from the sides of the case, leaving room for any wrappings the player might use. There is a separate music bag which is held onto the main case by Velcro straps. The bag will carry one or two orchestral parts, for example, but the capacity is limited, and those who need to carry several large scores or...

I like this case very much, its for my 12 year old daughter and she is very happy with it. It looks great, the violin fits snugly, there is room for the shoulder rest and it is not too heavy to carry. I really like the fact that when the lid comes down it automatically closes, which is very useful for children who can sometimes forget to close the zip, lift up the case and the instrument might fall out. I would highly recommend this case.

The flax outer covering of this case sets it apart from most others and has produced admiring comments from many of my friends. Despite its lightness and compact dimensions I am confident that its sturdy construction will protect my violin. The interior accessories compartment is a useful size and there is space within the case to store a shoulder rest. No string tube is provided but I was quickly able to fit one myself. The outer music pocket is large enough to hold orchestral sheet music. If needed, one of the backpack straps provided can be attached to the rings at both ends of the case so it can be carried on the shoulder. The case does not rest easily on its side and care must be taken to ensure the lid catches have closed properly but these are minor complaints and overall I am very...
Roth & Junius RJVC Violin Case Giocoso 4/4

I've recently changed my violin and the new one didn't came with a case. I wanted a solid one and not so expensive and this one will do well. The violin (Otto Jos Klier) fits in with no problem at all and it doesn't move when transporting. Nice amount of space on the compartment, I can finally store the shoulder rest properly and not on the bridge area like I had to do on my old case.

A very sturdy case. Great for travelling fits nicely as hand luggage. Secure with combination locks, it is neccesary to read insteuctions carefully to set up the combination locks correctly before use. The only thing is that although there is space enough for 2 bows, there is very little space for accessories inside the case. I love this design people always compliment my case. ?
Roth & Junius RJVC Concert-02 Violin Case

This case is visually very elegant and seems to be stable and reliable despite being extremely light to carry. The shoulder-strap clips seem secure and unlikely to slip out. I wish the compartment at the end was just a fraction larger, since it won't quite fit packs of strings lying flat. You have to stack them at a slant to fit them in, which takes up vertical space that could have been used for something else. Note that you need to reshape the foam in the section below the violin neck and in the lining at the bow tip to make it fit. At the bow tip you need to reach in under a covered section to do this, which can be a little awkward. At the neck this seems to be a feature rather than a bug (in order to fit each fiddle precisely), though at the bow tip I can't see a reason for it. But...

A fabulous, funky violin case. This was puchased as a birthday girt for my daughter. It is compact and lightweight. Jakob Winter Violin cases add that extra pizazz. The only downside was that this slimline violin case does not have space for a shoulder rest. We are returning for the more rectangular version-solely because of this reason alone.
Roth & Junius RJVC Violin Case Grandioso 4/4

I like the strength and feel of this case. It should provide good protection. It isn't at all lightweight and gives a sense of robustness. I would nave preferred the slots for the bows to have been larger as slotting in the point makes for a very tight squeeze. I have to do this diagonally. Zips feel strong and travel nice and smoothly. I would have liked the internal pockest to have been fewer, but larger. However, for what you get - great value

I was a little disappointed that the case is heavier than I thought. I think the weight in the description is incorrect. My old case weighs 1.6 kg and is much lighter than that. As for quality, there is nothing to complain about. Except that one of the clasps sometimes slips without getting into the groove and rubber on the handle is not very pleasant, so I prefer to wear it on the shoulder.
