My dad was amazed by them
My dad is a big time rush fan and always wanted a set. Not only do they sound great and bright but they hold their sound for ages. It's been about a year since i got them for him and they still sound great and are in tune.
Great!
Iâve bought these to replace the stock strings on my Squier classic vibe 70s P bass. What a difference it makes. Love the sound, and they feel good. Iâve read somewhere that Roger Waters uses these, so thatâs gotta say something - not sure if itâs true - and they are reasonably pricedâ¦
Easy peasy
Easy to play on, sounds good and no nickel allergy reactions.
Rotosound 66 Swing Bass
Great tuning stability, punch and crunch. My favourites...
The best bass strings
I've played and tried many different strings on my basses. Even just for trying something new. Every time I would just end up choosing for the roto's. They suit my style of playing really well. They have a nice growl to them, and work really well for the harder, over-driven bass tones I so desire.
I now only use these strings, they suit me best. It is, of course, a very personal thing. But for rock bass sounds, I still think these strings are the best.
Very good strings!
These strings are very good. Good punchy soundd with a great sustain. Go ahead and give them a try. These are used by the best bassplayers that have lived, like Entwistle, Squire and a lot more!
excellent for rock
I use them on a Precision bass, mostly with a plectrum. The first time I used Rotosound it was in 1983 and I was blown away by their superior definiton of tone and sustein. To my opinio they are still one of the best brands. This set in particular is perfect for rock/heavy music.
Great Sounding Pack!!
First thing to notice about these strings is they changed the packaging quite much. It used to be a sheet for each string. But now, they're touching each other. Felt some lack of quality there.
Nevertheless, sounding is superb!! I've put them to my '73 jazz bass and thing is singing! I'm having a blast each time I play stuff with slapping.
All the other people had written that these strings don't last long in terms of tone. Whether or not, they're cheap and giving so tasty sounding. I'd prefer to buy 5 or 10 packs of Roto instead of Elixir.
Best bass strings ever
I have no idea why any bass players in heavier styles of music play nickel strings.
Great strings and no hassles
Last forever and the quality you expect - sound good too! I play heavy and classic rock with a 5 piece band and these really punch through the mix - love them!
