It's perhaps more subtle than you'd expect. The Texture and Silk controls are what really make the difference, this is the key to getting the most characterful sounds out of it, in combination with the Saturation control.

The magic trick

After reading everything about this little unit and listening to all demos I could find, I was sure I needed it. I haven't been disappointed, it does bring that tape warmth and soft saturation, allowing you to push your sources without harshness. It's ideal to make your digital sources sound thicker and warmer. Built quality is top notch as expected from a RND product. The only problem is that now I want to buy a second one, I'm sure it would do magic on the mix bus.

Put this on the master buss and make a raff mix. Then Just put it out. You will understand)

Personally i find 15ips with red silk works really well. Gain staiging on this is really inportant! Enjoy.

Vibe machine

This unit (2 of them) is on every mix I do. I can't replicate them with plugins, they do something to the sound that I like a lot. The functionality is as much as needed and its easy to recall. Would love to get a 2 channel rack mastering version in the future

These Units are AMAZING

Since the very first day I bought them, I use them on 99% of my mixes. The bass and round sound that offers is something very unique. Very happy with my two Neves!

Adding a quality layer

Great product as it adds an extra pleasing layer to the sound. I only wish there was a stereo unit (instead of doing same knob twisting twice).

A must for subtle magic..

Collecting 8 ch summing mixer with these modules...If you need some secret weapon during tracking or mixing you will love it!
