Quality

I'm very happy with these.

They feel high quality. The comfort is great, and the sound is very accurate and clear. These are the default headphones for me, I use them for almost everything.

Very very good

I give a 4 for comfort because I feel the cups are a little shallow, however they still fit very nicely and do not get hot after wearing for a long time. Sound is brilliant, robust build with a nice thick wire that is tough to damage.

great mixing tool

I could never achieve a good mix with Beyer's 770 250Ohm so I switched to KRK 8400 and have been using it for several years. But after I tried HD 600 I understand why they cost much more than both of my other headphones. HD600 is a precision tool for the ears. With them, I can better position instruments on the scene and faster find bad regions for EQ.

A dissapointing venture

I was recommended these by a friend after some Beyerdynamic DT 770's failed me and I have to say while I love the sound I was led to believe that even with the open-back style the sound isolation was not awful. Unfortunately, it was like I was not wearing anything, I could hear my keyboard, mouse and even the goings on in my kitchen with them on and with audio playing. Great for a quite studio not for home use

Amazing headphones!

I think its my most favorite headphones up to this day. I simply cant get used to the great sound and all the detail u can hear on this headphones! No matter what u try to listen to it, it always sounds great! Its missing a bit on the sub bass and bass but that is easily solved by tweaking with the EQ! The clamp force is bit strong so I reccomend to stretch first by putting it on top of some books, so it becomes more comfortable the next time u wear it!

Still the best!

The HD600 are a legendary pair of cans. These have stood the test of time (released over 30 years ago), and for good reason.

The new 2019 revision have a more modern and sleek paint job (much needed, the old marble kitchen top look was very dated!) but still retain the original sound signature.

Latest stock are now manufactured in Ireland and are very well built.

Slightly disappointing

Heard a lot of good things about these headphones, they arrived quickly and I was excited to use them. However they just didn't produce what I was wanting from a fairly expensive pair of headphones.

I would say the base is lacking slightly and it sdoesbt have enough power to really drive through when your listening. Maybe an amp would be required to really enjoy these headphones but alas I do not own one.

They are extremely comfortable however and they fit perfectly, the design is amazing and you can't fault the way they were packaged.

Overall a solid 6/10. Disappointed to say the least with the sound design but comfortably the nicest wearing headphones I've tried.

Can't complain

I was a little bit sceptical at first as I had to purchase these headphones without being able to listen to it in real life and I checked a good few reviews about it saying its lacking on low end which is kind of realistic but these headphones more like made for mixing so it does makes sense it's kind of flat. Also was happy to see they moved back the production to Ireland -as the label says on the box- what most of the reviewers were doubtful about so that is also beneficial. First out of the box it seemed a little tight on the ears but after a few occasions wearing them on got loosened up pretty well. Still need to mention here by itself it wont bring out the full potential of these headphones a dac(optional) and a headphone to it would be highly recommended to it to make them 300 ohms work well enough. Overall very satisfied so far.

Amazing headphones for all uses

I have used these headphones over the past 18 months mainly for classical engineering and editing and have very few complaints. The low end response is excellent and the mids are very clear. I can comfortably wear these headphones for 8 hours a day.

Only complaint is that the band feels slightly on the flimsy side (emphasis on slightly), that being said, you should be treating these nicely.

Overall, a pair of headphones worth buying if looking for an upgrade.
